THE EXPERIENCE

A fusion of nature, music and paddling

Rockin the River is a pre-registered guided tour where participants will either kayak or canoe down the Nottawasaga River from the Wasaga Beach Sports Park to Schoonertown Park. The paddle should take about 3 hours. Along the way there will be 10 different spots where musicians will be set up and performing. As the river has good current in it – participants will float by and listen to them – but will not stop.

Participants will be shuttled by bus back to the Sports Park to get their vehicle.

6 Chickens In The Kitchen

Friendship and Foolishness

Six Chickens in the Kitchen was born out of a group of close friends who met through their children.  What started out as the odd ridiculous living room jam while the kids were playing, slowly evolved into fun practices and the organic build up of song writing and performing.  The name came from Craig's (lead guitar) family experience of raising six chickens in their kitchen during the pandemic.
